Necron Stronghold 3ds max, Photoshop September 2007
I was an Environment Artist at Relic Entertainment and Worked on the 2 expansion packs for Dawn of War: Winter Assault and Dawn of War: Dark Crusade.
This is a shot of part of the Necron's stronghold.
The Necrons are a metallic/skeletal race that are intent on wiping out all life from the universe. In Dawn of War: Dark Crusade, their stronghold is an underground necropolis featuring dusty, obsidian structures and streets carved with cryptic heiroglyphs. I created the background cavern painting, the terrain and building textures as well as the arch objects.
Another Relic artist created the pillars and green crystals.
